Dan holds a 4-yr BA from Canadian University College in Lacombe, and is working towards a second bachelor’s degree, this time in Business Administration.  He is a CompTIA A+ Certified computer technician, and is also working towards his Network+ and MCSA designations, which will help him to continue expanding the range of services he is able to offer.  Working with computers involves continuous learning and is therefore a challenging field, but one that Dan is well-suited to.
Dan has been a computer enthusiast since 1992, and comes into the business with a strong background in such skills as programming in various editions of the BASIC language, DOS / Windows operating systems, MS Office and systems design.  As well, he has the as analytical / logical thinking and problem-solving abilities which are needed for successful troubleshooting.  Besides this knowledge / expertise, Dan is very personable and is an entrepreneur at heart!





Awards:
Dan Campbell has been working hard to run and build his business, Dan’s Computer Services, while continuing as a student first at Canadian University College and now with Athabasca University.  In early January 2009 Dan entered the ACE Student Entrepreneur competition, and was chosen as the Provincial Champion in early February.  Dan was awarded the title of ACE 2009 Student Entrepreneur Provincial Champion for Alberta.  This award recognized the continued hard work and diligence in study of running a full-time business and being a full-time student.  On February 26-27, 2009 Dan took place in the ACE Western Regional Exhibition, where he was able to showcase his business before a panel of live judges who are business leaders in Calgary.  Dan looks forward to continued involvement with ACE in his pursuit of business excellence.  Here is a link to the official press release.
